Cue Care
and Maintenance Tips
Protecting your Viking Cue
When
you're not using your Viking cue, put it in a protective case.
Take care to guard your Viking cue from extreme environmental
conditions: heat and cold, humidity and dryness. Do not
store your Viking cue in your car!
Maintaining your Viking cue
Your
Viking cue will likely end up with nicks and scratches from normal play.
We recommend the Q-Wiz shaft conditioner for use with Viking cues.
This and other cue care products are available at your nearest
authorized Viking Cue dealer.
Leaning your Viking Cue
Avoid
leaning your Viking cue against a wall or counter. Any kind of
side pressure such as from your cue sliding down a wall to the floor
will leave your Viking cue vulnerable to breakage. If you must
lean your Viking cue, do so as close to the wall or counter as possible.
Better yet, lay your Viking cue on the table in front of the rack.
This will not only allow you to keep an eye on your Viking cue, but will
also keep your opponent from breaking until you are ready.
Lastly, don't lend your Viking cue to anyone else. No one will
take care of your Viking cue the way you will.
